Purchase and Delivery

As it is not possible to buy our items online you must contact us directly if you wish to purchase an item. You can either send us an email at info@frenchartandvintage.dk or call us directly at (+45) 28687700.
Please inform us of the item number (you will find this at the item description) as this eases the expedition.


You can pay via Mobile Pay, Paypal, bank transfer or cash when picking up your purchase. If you pay via bank transfer this has to be received before you can pick up your purchase.

Transport and delivery

Pick-up: You collect your purchase at our address in Aalborg – contact me to make an appointment.
Delivery with postal service: Shipment is to be paid by the buyer. We pack our items carefully and to the widest extent possible recycle packaging. It is better for the environment and is cheaper for our customers.

If the package upon delivery shows any signs of damage or having been opened then this shall be informed to the delivery company immediately upon delivery.
If the item has been damaged during the transport, you can of course return the item to us, provided you have notified the delivery company properly and immediately upon delivery. It is your own responsibility to return the item to us. For us to pay you back the full amount you must return the item in the same packaging as you received it in.

Delivery of furniture: You contact a transport company yourself. Payment for delivery of your order should be settled directly with the transport company. The transport company can then contact French Art & Vintage, who are happy to assist with collection coordination. The risk for damages lies with the buyer once the item has been handed over to the transport company.


Please note that VAT is included in all French Art & Vintage’s prices. Also please note that Danish VAT laws apply when purchasing from French Art & Vintage, and therefore VAT is not deductable as we use the VAT margin scheme for works of art, antiques and second hand goods.

Return policy

Items bought at French Art and Vintage are old and unique items. Age, wear, holes from woodworms etc. are therefore part of what gives our items that special look. We can vouch a 100 % for our items and therefore our basic principle is that you purchase the item as seen. For this reason, any purchased items collected by you in person from French Art & Vintage are non returnable.

Items you have bought via our webpage and which have been picked up by a transport company or send to you as a package via a postal service can be returned within 14 days under the condition that they are returned in the same condition in which you received them. Payment for transporting returned items, is on the buyer’s account.  Returned items requiring cash on delivery (COD) will not be accepted.

If the item is damaged or seems to have been used beyond the way it ordinarily would have been used by a consumer in the shop, French Art & Vintage reserves the right to deduct an amount corresponding to the depreciation. If we receive an item that has been damaged to an extent where it is no longer possible to sell again the item cannot be returned and you will not be refunded. When returning an item we therefore kindly ask you to make sure that the item has been properly packed, so that no damages will occur. Should you wish to return a purchased item, we would appreciate this information as soon as possible and you should inform us when the item has been shipped.

Printing errors

French Art & Vintage reserves the right to correct any inaccuracies in the webpage and/or concerning already sold items.
